Alien

I’ve heard it said that aliens are coming
Now, wouldn’t that really be something

Some even say they are already here
presenting themselves and causing us fear

I don’t know if this is true
I’ll ask you a question— how about you

I can attest to a man who came from a different place
Let’s call it outer space—

He came about two thousand years ago
He came as a baby and left earth at the age of thirty three

People saw him die and saw him living again
Many folks saw him on multiple occasions

You could say He was an alien
Strange He would give His life so we might live

He rose from the dead and returned to where He came
He said before He left, He would prepare a place for us

I believe that is true—how about you
