Cry

God is a spirit, and we live in a spirit world
God’s spirit is neither male nor female

Forced to guess I believe female would be best
There is no love like a mother has for her babe

God’s love is mother love magnified for all newborn life
When life is snuffed out before being born
Such sorrow in heaven can only be imagined—
As millions of angels’ cry

God is a spirit who must wonder why
Humans do things to make God cry
