Dr. Marvin Webster

God said “Marvin, I’ve given you ninety-four
but now is the time when I need you here with me a whole lot more”

Marvin was a God centered saintly man—
Lord Jesus saw him through when he made his last stand

Marvin was faithful and true—
And he loved our Lord Jesus, every inch through

For seventy years Marvin and his wife Virginia
Always held Jesus as number one and family as number two

God blessed them both with two Christ centered sons
Tony and Lane could not have been better ones

Marvin served God in many ways. One was as lead pastor,
for 34 years, in a church he co-founded in Santa Cruz, California

I imagine the first words that Marvin might have heard when he entered God’s Kingdom were from Matt: 25:23 “Well done, good and faithful servant!”

From 2 Cor: 5:8 “To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord”
