God Almighty, Spirit of creation and all that is good
Grant me peace and tranquility with you in your Kingdom of eternity

No more doubts and anxiety, love and goodness all the time
Serving you forever is the hope of mine

Humans cause each other so much sorrow and pain;
you did not design life to be a fair game

The good book says that hardship is a pathway to eternal peace,
I have not traveled that path, but I have stepped on it enough to know what it is about
