Helping Hand

Who would ignore a helping hand
A prideful woman and a prideful man

Foolish women and foolish man
Strutting their pride, from which they can-not hide

A man and a woman all on their own
Except of course, they have their smart phone

Ignoring God’s presence wherever they go
The Holy Spirit is anxious to help

People should wake up and understand
We can-not play every instrument in life’s band

Jesus told us what to do
He sent His Holy Spirit to help prideful souls like me and you
