Only Human

Look how far we’ve come
from the early dawn of human time

Not far removed from our primate ancestors
Our DNA remains close to them all
But God decided our brain should not remain small

How much further will God let us go
Before human pride brings humanity to its ultimate fall

We are only human, yet smart enough to know
There is something out there unimaginatively greater
I bet my life on the almighty creator

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever
