When All is Said and Done

When all is said and done, I must ask myself
Did I live my life well for God and His Son

With all the help I was given I will still ask God for my wrongs to be forgiven
ashamed and sorry for what I did and did not do

Living my life for myself when I should have been
Living my life the Way I knew God wanted me to

I am guilty of living my selfish way
But God has seen this act before

Those few who have truly lived for God
Those saints are my heroes who I pray I will see

When God, by his grace and the promise of His Son
Will, I pray, welcome me Into His Heavenly Kingdom
When my life on earth is finally done
