When My Life is Done

When my life is done
When I have seen my last sinking sun

When my last kiss with lips I feel
When death is so undeniably real

Will I sense my life anew
Will an angel help to see me through

Will my love for God camouflage my human errors
Will Christ take pity and vouch for me

Will Christ do for me what He said He would do
Oh yes my Lord—I know that is true
