Why

Martyrs who have died
Soldiers fighting on either side

All have given life away
Hoping to see a better day

Babies dead before they are born
People suffering because of where they were born

God must have special rewards for those such as these
Including those born with developmental disease

Many humans suffer innocently
And we all wonder why

It might be the price of life
A price not all would choose to pay

We hope God tells us why
On the day that we all must die
